One Of Those Quilts That Just Kept On Growing

DD asked me to make a quilt for one of her friends, the only stipulations were it had to be the Very Hungry Caterpillar and it needed to have green in it. So I found a panel and searched all over town for coordinating fabrics to go with it and only found two. I couldn't find a pattern I liked so I had to come up with a plan of my own.  I decided to offset the two blocks from the panel with two big green blocks. Then I added lots of coloured circles to the green blocks and all that was needed was some sashings and borders! What do you think?

 Is this quilt too big for a one year old????

Loving the Fanfare!

I have fallen head over heels for the latest range of fabrics at my local quilt store. It is called Fanfare! So far I have made these little baskets but I do have some other projects planned using this fabric!

I finally finished the binding on this quilt that has been on my list for the past few months😁

I finished it just in time too! We have just had visitors arrive!

Having finished that I had a bit of fun playing around with these cute little pouches

Finally Finished Mumma Turtle

I finally got some more black yarn for my dragon so I could finally finish my turtle too! Now Mumma and Baby have been reunited 😉

Progress

This is the latest project I have been working on and it is very close to being finished😃

 Hoping to get it finished while I am creating with my Friday Night Friends!

Luckily that wasn't one of the links I accidentally deleted when I was trying to update my page! I was trying to update my things I am participating list and I accidentally deleted the whole list! ARRRGGGHH! Of course now I can't find some of the buttons because either I started participating in them a long time ago or I've forgotten what else I was participating in. Oh well I will have to find some new things to participate in.... Any suggestions?

Well it's all finished and ready to deliver! Tomorrow is going to be such a long day as I wait for the right moment to give it to the person it is intended for! I'm soo excited to see what their reaction will be!

July OMG Project

I've decided that my July project will be to get the binding on the butterfly quilt now it is back from the quilter...plus I would really like to be able to give it to the person it is for by the end of the week! That should put me off to a great start to the month and I may even get a few other things finished that I still haven't  managed to get done!😣
