Finally finished

I have been working on this quilt for a while and all that was left to do on it was to put the binding on. I spent most of the day stitching it on, but at last it is finished. Tomorrow I will be able to get a hanger for it and drop it off to it's new owner. I hope they love it as much as I do.

It was a pattern by Nancy Halvorson from her Curiosities & Mischief book which I adjusted a little to suit the purpose of hanging in a preschool classroom.

Now I am off to sew on some duck wings, beaks and eyes to finish off some more little ducks.

Linking up to Kathy's Quilts Slow Stitching Sunday Don't forget to check out what everyone else has been up to today too!

  2. What a great little quilt! Perfect for a school setting and if the adults would remember all that once in a while this world would be a much nicer place.
